Look Who's Walking

Graham has been letting go and taking steps on his own all week long. I don't know if he's trying to show me his personality or not, but he doesn't like to walk on his own if I'm holding on to him and then let go. He only seems to want to take steps when he's holding on to something ... it's like he only wants to do it on his own terms and when he's ready. Babies are so funny!! Oh, and yes, he is wearing Christmas pjs ... I desperately need to do laundry :)

Girls Trip to Altanta

Last weekend, my mom took my sisters-in-law and me on a fun girls trip to Atlanta!! We all arrived on Thursday and had a mexican dinner with margaritas all around to kick off the kid-free weekend :) We spent all day Friday at the Scott Antique market and all got some goodies for our new homes and finished the day at Bacchanalia for dinner, which we all stated was in our top 5 best restaurants ever. On Saturday we indulged in some spa treatments at our hotel spa and went shopping in the afternoon. It truly was an amazing weekend, not just to get away from the duties of motherhood, but to be with the women I love most and just have fun with them. I am SO blessed!!!!

Beach Bum

Do I look like my Daddy, or what?!?!?
We had a great trip to Destin, FL this past week and had tons of fun with Kevin's parents and his sister's family. I was a bit concerned that it was going to be tough hanging out on the beach with Graham, but he LOVED it!! He barely ate any sand and loved crawling all over the beach and in and out of the water. And he really loved his shovel and pail. The weather rained quite a bit, but it cooled the temperatures, so it was very pleasant. Kevin and I also got to go out to dinner and see Mamma Mia :) Thanks Pops and Gigi for a wonderful trip!!

Party Central

Housewarming Party
That's a lot of guys on one couch :)

Robin's baby shower
I was quite the hostess this weekend!! We had a housewarming party at our house on Friday night. It was so much fun having friends over for food, drinks, and fellowship. Our new house is PERFECT for big get-togethers and Graham never even knew what was going on. Then on Sunday, I drove down to Birmingham to host a baby shower for Robin. She is having a baby girl named Anna in the end of September. She looks adorable and is going to be a wonderful mommy :)

Fun Times

Graham had fun playing with Wils while he was in Nashville for a visit and going to the pool with Mac McFarland. He loves playing with family and friends. We've adjusted back to our schedule here at home well. I can't believe it was only a week ago that I was in Jamaica without a care in the world!! Graham is still precious as ever, and I am truly enjoying every second I have with him. He has changed my life for sure, but it is for the better without a doubt. I feel so blessed that God has entrusted him to me and love my life as a mom :)

Jamaica!!!!!

We had an incredible 5th anniversary trip to Jamaica!!!! Lots of eating, sleeping, reading, relaxing by the pool/beach, etc. We definitely missed our little guy and spent TONS of time talking about him, but he was in good hands with all 4 grandparents and we were still able to enjoy ourselves just fine. I think our highlight of the trip was just being able to sleep ... we never made it out of bed before 10 except on our last day and only because we had to. Feel free to check out more pictures from our trip: http://www.kodakgallery.com/Slideshow.jsp?mode=fromshare&Uc=8od0v6o9.aasxdz3x&Uy=nujmsp&Ux=0&UV=267599899241_431996696605

The 4th at Pickwick

We enjoyed a fun weekend at the lake for the 4th. Graham looked hilarious in his life jacket and enjoyed the wind blowing during his boat rides. We head to Memphis on Saturday to drop him off with the grandparents, so that Kevin and I can take a Graham-free trip to Jamaica. I'm looking very forward to it but know that leaving my baby for the first time will be hard. Good thing I know he'll be in good hands!!
