Slacker

So, I have definitely been a slacker lately ... I've been bad about taking pictures and videos and haven't updated the blog in over 2 weeks. It's mostly due to the fact that I am definitely slowing down lately. I still feel pretty good, but everything seems to take so much more energy these days. I'm glad Graham enjoys playing inside and outside our house because we are doing A LOT of that. I am truly enjoying this last little bit of him as my only child. I wouldn't say that I am necessarily nesting, but we have begun to get some things ready. We've put out the swing and bouncy seat to get Graham used to it ... we will definitely have to buckle these babies in since I'm pretty sure Graham might try to catapult them out :) I bought some newborn diapers and Graham helped me put them in the drawers ... they are the tiniest things!! Oh, and we finally made sure that all of the car seats will fit in my car, and thankfully they do. My ultrasound this week was wonderful and baby A measured 4 lbs. 9 oz. and B measured 4 lbs. I can't believe I already have over 8.5 lbs of baby and probably still have a little less than 5 weeks to go. I know it will be so good for the babies if I make it all the way to 38 weeks, but the thought of how big my tummy is going to get is a bit discouraging. Feel free to send up any prayers, esp. about my comfort level. I promise I'll get some pics out soon!!

Summer Fun

I'm not going to lie, I was definitely dreading this summer ... being big pregnant with twins, the heat, keeping up with Graham, etc. But it has been great so far!! We spend a lot of time at the pool ... Graham even jumped off the diving board to Kevin all by himself last weekend :) Katie, Wils, and Brantley stayed with us a few days last week, and I loved having them here. Kevin is taking Graham to Destin on Thur. for the weekend. It will be Graham's first flight ... good luck, Kev!! I'm looking forward to some good rest, but it will be weird here in my house by myself (something I haven't done in almost 2 years). Ok, on the the baby update: I had an ultrasound this a.m. and Baby A measured 3 lbs. 5 oz. and B measured 3 lbs. 2 oz. Both looked great and are head down which hopefully they will stay that way. I have a maximum of 7 weeks to go which somedays seems so far off and other days seems like tomorrow. I have been so blessed with such a smooth twin pregnancy and can't wait to meet my 2 precious kiddos. Here's to hoping the end of the summer is just as easy as the beginning!!

Our Trip and Big Boy Bed

Kevin and I had an INCREDIBLE anniversary trip to Cancun and made it back with babies still in-utero!! We were super lazy and mostly slept, ate, read, and completely chilled. It was so nice to have pure rest and relaxation and know that Graham was very well taken care of and having fun with all of his grandparents. Thanks to our parents for loving our boy and giving us some wonderful time together. On another note, we moved Graham to his big boy bed and all has gone well so far. He doesn't use a pillow or sleep under the covers and sleeps in crazy positions. It's funny seeing such a little boy in such a big bed!!
