Dores Weekend

We spent last weekend celebrating the Dores with a Vandy basketball game on Friday night and a football game on Saturday.  We had a great time and saw 2 victories!!  I can tell our boys are really going to enjoy spectating Vandy sports throughout the years which makes a VERY happy Daddy :)

Alabama Game

Kevin and I went down to Tuscaloosa for the weekend for the Alabama vs. LSU game.  It was so nice to have a super low key weekend away from the boys ... thanks SOOOOO much Pops and Gigi for keeping them :)  And thanks to Bet Bet and Snacks for setting us up with tickets and a sweet place to stay ;)  And of course, it was even better that Alabama won!!

Halloween X 2

 Boy, did our boys get lucky this year ... they got to go trick or treating not only once but twice!!!  The threatening storms caused some neighborhoods to postpone trick or treating until Friday, but we got a break in the weather and made it out to Nichol Lane on Thursday AND went to Belle Meade Links on Friday.  All 3 had a BLAST and consumed quite a lot of candy :)  Until next year ...

Graham was swinging from a branch in the magnolia tree in our front yard and it snapped and sent him falling ... he put his hand back to break his fall and ended up fracturing both his radius and ulna bones at the wrist.  But he has a cool glow in the dark cast to show for it!!  He was in A LOT of pain which was sad to see, but he has really perked up today and is barely missing a beat.  So thankful for his resilient body!!

Pumpkin Patch

After church yesterday, we headed down to Lucky Ladd Pumpkin Patch ... it was a BLAST and we stayed til they closed at 5.  I'm so glad we got to fit this in before they close for the season.  There were SO many fun activities and all 3 boys had a great time.  I know I sound like a broken record, but I am so grateful that my boys have each other and get to journey through life's experiences together as brothers.  I think God has placed in my heart this feeling of awe at what they have to help balance out my feelings of the continued daily craziness of 3 active little boys born in less than 2 years.  Oh, how I pray that they will always remain close!!!!

Rare Retreat

I got to take just Luke and Carter to Sea Island for 4 days.  I was actually pretty nervous to tell Graham the night before we left that I was taking them and not him, but he took it like a champ and was thrilled when he heard about all of the fun stuff he was going to be doing while staying home with Daddy.  Our weather was dreamy and the dynamics of the trip couldn't have been more perfect ... we got to spend 2 days with just my parents and then 2 days with Wilson's family.  I know I say this after each trip, but this place is just special and I'm so happy that my boys are making such great memories there.  Here's to hoping we can squeeze in another trip for New Years!!!
