To be honest ...

... I'm a bit surprised this didn't happen sooner.  Who knows how but Luke and Carter broke one of the spindles off of Carter's bed.  Those houligans!!!  

Happenings

As usual, I have so little to blog about in January and February (waa waa).  I will go ahead and put it out there ... i am NOT a fan of winter.  Thankfully it hasn't been too bad and we've had plenty of days to play outside and spring and daylight savings are so close I can taste them :)  Anyway, here are a few pics (and one video) of what we've been up to around here lately.  

Enjoying many fires ... i taught the boys a game that i played with my brothers when i was a little girl - sit with your back to the fire until you can't take it any longer and then they run to me and i judge who has the hottest back!!

Snow Day

We finally got some snow ... just enough to get all bundled up and head out for a snowball fight and to make some snow angels.  It was very short lived (the snow itself and our time out in it) but very fun!!

Static

I've always said that winter does not do wonders for little Geshke hair.  Between the static and hats and fleece, their hair is pretty much always looking subpar.  But they have lately found a new reason to love the static ... static + balloons + music + dancing = a good time :)

A Glimpse

I got a little glimpse today of what it might be like to have girls.  As I was cleaning the kitchen from breakfast and making lunches, I overheard L&C talking in sweet little voices and snuck up on them to find that Luke was "the baby" and Carter was "the mommy"  Baby Jess was at our house last weekend and we pulled down the exersaucer for him and still haven't put it back up in the attic.  Luke was completely in it with Carter bringing him toys in the grocery cart and caring for "his little baby"  They are a funny pair!!

Latest Obsession

I have recently become a little obsessed with Juice Nashville (www.thejuicenashville.com).  They have some seriously healthy and DELICIOUS juice!!!  I have done their 3-day juice cleanse and now subscribe to their "weekly juice" - i get the juices below delivered right to my front door every Thursday.  All the juices have fun names and the boys especially love it when they see me drinking the "oh yeah" :)  Luke really loves them and always asks, "one last sip, Mommy?"  If you live in Nashville, I definitely recommend giving the juice a try.  I'm trying really hard to Kevin on board!!

New Years in Sea Island

We headed down to Sea Island for New Years with my parents and brothers' families.  Great family times, played outside a lot, ate way too much food, and shockingly got more sleep than normal ... not a bad few days!!  No one brought their camera, so these iPhone pics will have to suffice:
