I can't help but laugh ...

... at how I find Luke and Carter when I go check on them at night before I go to bed.  They sure do like to par-tay in their room at night :)  I'll let the pictures speak for themselves ... all I can say is THEY ARE A MESS!!!!!!!!!

Life at the Beach

We just returned from 12 days at the beach with the Moore extended family.  I'm afraid my boys are going to go into some serious cousin withdrawal.  I asked Graham last night if he was sad to leave Sea Island, and he told me yes because he wouldn't get to see Wils anymore, and then today (after we'd only been home for 2.5 hours) Graham asked if we could go to Jake's house ... when I told him no, he asked if Jake could come to our house :)  And Luke, Carter, and Brantley were like the 3 Amigos this trip!!!  I am so grateful that my boys have LOTS of boy cousins and that they love to be around them.  We had a great week, and I'm hoping that our reentry to the real world won't be too bad.

I can't get over how big Graham is, and especially that we're about to enter a new phase in life where I'm probably about to spend more time away from him than I am with him.  How is it possible that he's going to be 5 in September and start full time school in August?  Why do kids grow up so fast?  Looking forward to a fun summer with some lazy days ahead!!

The Jolly Roger

If any of you out there are familiar with the Disney Jr. cartoon Jake and the Neverland Pirates, you'll get my blog title.  It has been our choice Saturday a.m. cartoon lately!!  And finally all 3 will actually sit through a show ... well, Luke can still be ansty at times.  Anyway, Graham has been obsessed with taking the cushions off the couch and chair to make "The Jolly Roger," which is Captain Hook's pirate ship.  Graham is Captain Hook, Carter is Mr. Smee, and Luke is either Bones or Shuckie.  Boy, do I love their imaginations!!  Here are some pics I took yesterday of Captain Hook and Mr. Smee while Bones was still napping :)

Lights On!!!

In the last week or so I've noticed that the light in Luke and Carter's room comes on shortly after I put them to bed at night. As they are not quite tall enough to reach the switch, I asked them how they do it ... here's what I found out:

Easter in Sea Island

WOW!!!! That pretty much sums up our last week. We got to spend the week and Easter in Sea Island with my parents. I'm telling you, that place is just dreamy. There is SO much fun stuff to do - beach, pool, hot tub, golf course, golf cart rides, bike rides, etc - and all you have to do is step foot out the back or front door and it's all right there. My parents REALLY enjoyed me and my boys and we REALLY enjoyed them ... it truly was a special week. And it got even better on the weekend when Kevin joined us :) I know I say this a lot, but I couldn't be happier that my boys have each other. It's definitely a bit crazy to have 3 boys less than 2 years apart, but I continue to be awestruck at times when I watch them together. They truly are an incredible gift to me and to one another ... God is SO good!!!!
