Sleepover with Evie

Evie came over to spend last night with Graham. For those of you who don't know, Evie is my niece and is just shy of being 6 months older than Graham. These two are a funny pair!! Evie is very into her personal space and Graham doesn't even know the meaning of those words. He follows her around like a puppy and tries to kiss her lots ... all of which are denied. I must say, though, that I think we're turning a corner and they are finally bonding. Graham calls her "Abba" and had a smile plastered on his face the whole time she was here. It was really fun having them entertain each other this morning!! Jackson and Margie, we'll keep "Abba" anytime :)

Sea Island

We went to the beach for New Years with my parents and brothers and their families. It was so nice to be able to play outside again and enjoy some warm weather. We had a great time and simply enjoyed being together. New Years Eve

Kevin and I spent New Years Eve in Nashville at the Music City Bowl. It was INCREDIBLE watching Vandy win!!!!! Thanks Bet Bet and Snacks for keeping Graham.

Christmas in Memphis

We had a wonderful Christmas in Memphis with our families. Graham was very excited about opening presents but after 1 or 2 he definitely lost interest. He was a trooper being toted around so much going back and forth between both sets of grandparents. Can't wait to see how he reacts next year!!

Christmas at Home

We celebrated Christmas at home today with Graham. He had a few presents under the tree and enjoyed tearing up the paper and playing with his new toys. We are heading to Memphis on Tuesday to spend Christmas with our families. I love this special time with the people I love and especially celebrating the birth of our Savior who continually reminds me of His unconditional love.

Picture with Santa

I took Graham to the Green Hills Mall to get his picture with Santa, and he obviously didn't care for the jolly old man too much. He was fine and liked him from afar, but as soon as I put him in his lap and walked away the screams began. I hate to laugh at my child crying, but it was pretty comical. Margie took Jake and Evie, too ... Jake LOVED Santa and Evie cried almost as hard as Graham did. Devon also took Mac, and not surprisingly he was a little angel. I'm hopefully going to keep this tradition going ... we'll see what next year holds!!

Thanksgiving

We had a fabulous Thanksgiving in Memphis this year with the Moore family!! We actually managed to get all of the kids down for a nap while we ate our yummy meal :) The week was non-stop and Graham played so much with his cousins that he dropped his morning nap. It was great last week, but we'll see how it is when we get home and it's only me to entertain him.
